BROTHER BOOTH

Ideation + Creative Direction

SPOTTED BY YOUR SIDE
Marketing a company with over 100 years of product development behind their name requires fresh ideas mixed with a lot of on-site fun. Over the years, I have helped lead and direct multiple projects providing creative direction and for this booth the “big idea” of Sasquatch. I always love an element of surprise :). Results from the booth? Visitors raved and Brother experienced their highest-ever engagement at NRF. The “one Brother” retail store approach won several internal awards and re-set the bar for future collaborations between Brother business units.

THE WORK

FROM PAPER TO PIXEL

THE SKILLS
FROM START TO FINISH

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

Every project begins with a core thought. A vision for what an idea can accomplish. For me, this starts with a team, a white board and endless possibilities.

SKETCHES

When you’ve really struck gold, even the most elaborate idea can come through in a quick doodle. From wireframes and storyboards to page allocations and spreads, sketching is always the first step to exquisite final execution.
USER EXPERIENCE

It’s one thing to make a pretty picture. It’s another to think through every detail of an experience. How it is interpreted, interacted with and, hopefully, enjoyed.

DESIGN

Taking an idea from concept to creation is where the magic happens. From print to web, from tiny banner ads to giant billboards, design is key to connecting with audiences and communicating the story.
CREATIVE DIRECTION
Guidance. Mentorship. Patience. Pushing work further. It’s all a part of what goes into providing creative direction, and it’s all a part of making work that looks great and meets goals.

PRESENTATION

Great work can only take you so far. You need someone on your side who can communicate exactly why it works. Aesthetically. Strategically. Instinctively. It’s not about convincing a client. It’s about helping them see potential that’s already there.

THE CREATIVE

FROM ALABAMA TO COLORADO

The Auburn Designer is a play on my unique red hair color and my educational roots. Growing up in Alabama, my parents, who own a photography studio, cultivated creativity and instilled an entrepreneural spirit in me from an early age. I gained a formal education in graphic design from Auburn University and then obtained a graduate certificate from Colorado State University in Marketing Management in 2020. Currently, I am leading a team of creatives at a B2B marketing agency. I believe that by combining conceptual design and marketing strategies, I am best able to meet clients’ goals through innovative, fresh creative.
